What we look for?
We are looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer & SRE with strong expertise in AWS-based environments, capable of leading cloud operations, ensuring platform reliability, and driving automation and best practices. The ideal candidate combines deep technical knowledge with an SRE mindset, strong communication skills in English, and the ability to mentor others while collaborating across teams.

Main tasks and accountabilities will be:
Lead advanced monitoring, incident management, and incident response, including root cause analysis and implementation of long-term corrective actions.
Manage and optimize AWS infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, security, and performance.
Design, implement, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using tools such as Terraform and GitHub Actions.
Oversee and improve CI/CD pipelines to enable reliable and automated infrastructure and platform deployments.
Manage and evolve Kubernetes and EKS environments, ensuring operational excellence and stability.
Optimize platform performance, reliability, and cost efficiency by identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
Collaborate closely with Application Owners, Secure Landing Zone (SLZ) Engineering, and Support teams to ensure solutions meet operational and strategic goals.
Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers, fostering skill development and best practices adoption.
Participate in on-call availability, with scheduled monthly availability and planned intervention windows.

What do we expect from you?
Senior-level experience in Cloud Operations and Site Reliability Engineering.
Strong hands-on expertise in AWS, including:
Secure Landing Zones (LZ)
AWS Organizations
Service Control Policies (SCPs)
Direct Connect
Extensive experience with Kubernetes and EKS in production environments.
Solid background in CI/CD, automation, and DevOps practices.
Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, GitHub Actions, or similar tools).
Strong skills in monitoring, ing, and incident response.
Ability to work independently while also leading technical initiatives.
English level: minimum B2, with C1 strongly recommended due to the international and collaborative nature of the role.

Strong communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills.

Work Location
100 % remote (Spain)

Work Schedule  
Business hours (40 hours weekly with 1 hour for lunch).

Availability for:
1 full week per month on-call availability
4–8 hours per month of interventions, typically grouped into 1–2 sessions.
